If not signed within the deadline, your booking may be cancelled with no refund. ● This property can host a maximum of 8 guests, including children and infants, per the local governing regulations. ● Guests are REQUIRED to register with Winona Lakes no less than 2 days from the arrival date.
A registration form will be sent to you that must be filled out immediately.
There is no fee for registration.
Unfortunately, renters do not have access to the community amenities DOG FEE: ● $100 per dog.
All dogs must be vetted.
We allow a maximum of 3 dogs per booking, and we have the right to decline dogs based on breed or age.
The appropriate fees will be requested once final approval has been confirmed. ● Wander Home requires that all guests have their profile 100% verified.
Please upload government issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as sending us a photo of your ID after booking confirmation. ● Eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee. ● A damage waiver fee ($40) is included for all reservations.
Most channels add this upfront.
Others do not have this capability, and it will be manually added to the invoice once the reservation is confirmed. ● This property is on a cliffside with steep access and fall hazards.
Please keep this in mind when planning your stay, as it might not be the best option for elders, young children, or those with disabilities. ● Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts.
We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free. ● NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights.
If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: Super Foodtown, Price Chopper, Weis Markets, & CVS ● We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay.
If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement.
Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank. ● When drought, weather or other conditions present an unusual fire risk, a burn ban may be imposed by the community without prior notice.
SECURITY CAMERAS / AUDIO RECORDING DEVICES: ● The property has two exterior security cameras on-site.
One Ring doorbell camera is located at the main entry door.
The other security camera is located on a tree trunk at the top of the steps at the lower parking area. ● Drive, bike, or walk within the community.
You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community.
Uber and taxi cabs are available in the area, but can have long wait times or be difficult to find. ● You must travel in an AWD/4WD vehicle.
We are located in the mountains and roads tend to be sloped and can get very icy, including the road and driveway leading to our property.
